so a couple of hours after school today, my mom tells me to get dressed because we have to watch my little sister at her middle school chorus concert. these thing are so tedious...smh, but this time was a little better than the other years, i guess, in a way. they sung the same songs, but hey, there were some new faces.
as soon as i got home, i saw an old time favorite, fear factor, which is so funny to me and my sister because the people on there do the most creepiest,most dumbest, most nastiest stuff for $50,000. i know i wouldnt be eating any horse balls, or bug juice for that kind of money.
Today was just like any other sunday which involved me heading off to church with my family, and catchin the game with my friends. both our favorite teams were facing off, the colts and the ravens. i am a colts fan, and they always try to dog me because they are winless thus far throughout the season. i hoped we could pull off what the winless dolphins did a couple of seasons back, but we failed to do so as we took that hard L to the ravens because of the offense and defenses poor performance.
earlier today i have been working diligently on making up some late blogs, but for the most part i was at the hospital visiting my grandfather. he was put in there yesterday after we found out he was having trouble breathing. so i got up there and there was plenty of relatives who i didnt even know, who visited him as well. so i had to check up on him and make sure he was alright and that took up the majority of my day.
today i finally got around to setting up that christmas tree. it would normally take a while to do, but with help it got done way faster. i believe it took us about an hour to put up the entire thing, but it was most certainly worth it.
it took me about a month to get my hands on this, but i finally saved up enough to buy it. im about to bust it open and play til' midnight. i hope its as good as all the hype it got.
today there was no school because i think it was called professional development day. so my cousin has a birthday today, so i called her to wish her a happy birthday since she always complain about no one ever calling her and wishing her a happy bday. so i did just that and started looking at a few colleges in maryland.

on this wednesday, i had good time with the family. we went to visit my aunts house, and i got to see my cousin that i havent talkin to in months. we had a great time together, and i relly enjoyed the dinner they served us. when i got home i did manage to finish my homework, so today was awesome.

today me and my family went to church. we got home from church at about 1:00. it was okay i guess. i then started watching the football game, and my mom interrupted me to have a family prayer real fast. but it wasnt real fast, we spent about an hour going through the bible saying prayers from it. but i couldnt complain, so after that i went on to finish watching the game, and completing my homework.

today was cool, i got to hang with my cousin that i havent seen in a minute. but for most of the day i just started bustin the work out. i cant say what kind of work because i would probably get in trouble..and its school related work, as in homework, or sort of make up work for avid..but yeah thats how my day went for the most part.
class of 2012 made the pep rally live. that pep rally was odee, people was goin crazy in there. everybody was trying to make their class seem the loudest. but 2012 was the loudest. that mascot was goin off though. the creator of that costume he has on is very creative. but yeah, he was doin his thing, and the dance team did good too, and all those people that were in the obstacle course, including fellow classmates prosper , and jason. well everybody except the girl that fell..sike naw, she did good too. so this years pep rally went well
today was pretty chillz, the school day went by kind of fast and then the powder puff game was up next. the epic battle between the juniors(class of 2013) vs. the seniors(class of 2012). those girls were not playin no games out there. they were smackin heads on that field forreal, but them juniors started it. the seniors had to end it. the final score of the game was 18 to 12< i think..but i know the seniors won, of course.
today i got finished with another college essay, and i got some help filling out college apps with my cousin. after school today, i missed the bus and had to walk home, but i think it was for a reason. so i could run into my friend that i havent seen in a long time. we hung out for a couple of hours and then i went home. i was happy that i got to see him, i havent seen him in like 3 years.
sucks that we had school today, but i didnt really care. we had school today and everybody just went on like normal. after school though, there were so many kids trick-or-treating. some of them werent even kids. but hey, when it was over i got the left over candy, so there was no need for me to go trick or treatin.
today my grandfather turns 66. he is sort of a role model for me, he has always been there for me, and i have plenty of love for him. my grandfather has been through so much during his life, and it is so amazing to see him still doing everything. doesnt need help with anything. so happy bday gp.
me and some of my friends went to towson and hung out at the mall. later on we went over my other friends house to my friends house to chill for a while. did i mention that it snowed this morning? well it did. in october. before halloween. and that was my crazy saturday.
today i got straight to work on my homework so i could enjoy the rest of the weekend ahead. i got to work on some of my college essays, and i even got to talk to dona about my reccommendation letter. but now that its all over, i just wanna relax and enjoy the rest of this friday.
i guess today was alrite. i got a college essay done earlier, and another one started today. i also got to play some basketball with a couple of my homeboys afterschool. but other than that i didnt really do anything but sleep for the whole day.

today was my uncles bday. my homeboy turned 22 today and he just got a new projector from my mom. so i guess hes about to be done with his theatre room in the basement of his house. i hope he enjoyed it and had a good time.

me and a couple of my friends went to the mall and later headed to the movies. paranormal activity3 released yesterday so we just said hey, why not see it today. so we went in and couldnt get in because we didnt have any i.d. so we then got this woman to pretend to act like she was our guardian, so we could get in. so we got in and saw the movie. it was ard, everybody kept getting scared, but i wasnt that scared. so it was a fine overall day for us.
i went to school today, and got a few pictures done for the series of self portraits today. i also got the quiz mr.occonnor told us about. it was pretty easy though. so i had a decent day in school. but i then missed the bus trying to finish the exit slip in cryders class. smh, but anyway i walked home and did my homework.

in avid class today we watched a video about a man who was goin crazy over tuesday. TGIT..but he spoke some good preachings, he was crazy though. he was hecka loud and boisterous forreal. but still, he knew what he was talkin about. i will listen to and follow what he said.

so we have no school on the glorious saturday afternoon and i decided to go to the movies with my sister and uncle. we saw the lion king and it brought back many memories. when we were younger, we used to watch this movie with some cousins, and we all loved it. so this saturday was truly speacial, and i had such a good time.

(1/2) I finally caught up on my reading the story "a hope in the unseen". It took a lot of work but hey, i had to do what i had to do. Now im ready for that
in avid, we were givin a checklist for the month of october. i got started on a few parts of it like the note cards on the five schools, and i signed up for a conference with dona on the 24th of this month. i have alot of work to do, and i plan on completing it.
after that wasted saturday, i wanted to be productive and i drew all the pictures in my portfolio that are for studio art class tomorrow. i know i kinda procrastinated, but at least its all done and out of the way now. now im about to watch the colts play and get that w.

i went to the MVA take my permit test today with my sister. i had to wait a while to take it though because they took forever to call me up. so when i gave them my information and everything, they sent me into the room to take the test. although i was a little nervous i tried not to let it get in the way of me passing this test. so i take my seat and take the test. 12 minutes later, i fail...im goin back tomorrow after school, and im getting that permit.
Today was a good day. I had fun with my family as we played football in my grandfather's backyard. We played a 3 on 3 pick up game, and I was on the team with my cousin and uncle, and played against 3 of my other cousins. My team won and we had alot of fun scoring TDs on them.

This year's avid induction was very memorable. Their were lots of new members of the avid family that i saw there. I had a great time and im sure everyone else did too. I wanted that mac book, but oh well, ill get one of the laptops at the senior farewell hopefully
Today i witnessed our president give a speech on cutting taxes and creating jobs. over 14 million people are out of work and president obama wants that to change. So today president obama challenged congress to pass the $450 billion plan. Obama wants the lawmakers to slash Social Security taxes for millions of americans and he wants to encourage businesses to start hiring. The president wants to put emphasis on the unemployed. I dont exactly know how congress will react to this, but i hope they pass this bill.
Today, I had plans on playing basketball with a few friends, but unfortunately the rain ruined my daily plans. I saw this coming when I went to Dunkin Donuts with my sister Shawanda and our family and seeing the rain pour down like a safety shower in a laboratory I honestly knew I wasn't going to get that accomplished today. All in all the rain ruined my day.
