Taking down the tree

The christmas tree in my house has been put up early december, and is just now being brought down today. We were supposed to take it apart after new years, but time got away. The tree was also supposed to be put up after thanksgiving but time got away then too. Now we can have enough room in the living room to move the new tv stand my mother bought the other day into the space where the tree was placed.

Financial aid seminar

The financial aid seminar was very interesting. It consisted of many key components needed to get started and the importance of using the FAFSA. Although i came in kinda late, i still caught the essential and critical info needed.

my little sister's concert

so a couple of hours after school today, my mom tells me to get dressed because we have to watch my little sister at her middle school chorus concert. these thing are so tedious...smh, but this time was a little better than the other years, i guess, in a way. they sung the same songs, but hey, there were some new faces.

                                                                                            

as soon as i got home, i saw an old time favorite, fear factor, which is so funny to me and my sister because the people on there do the most creepiest,most dumbest, most nastiest stuff for $50,000. i know i wouldnt be eating any horse balls, or bug juice for that kind of money.

Sunday..smdh

Today was just like any other sunday which involved me heading off to church with my family, and catchin the game with my friends. both our favorite teams were facing off, the colts and the ravens. i am a colts fan, and they always try to dog me because they are winless thus far throughout the season. i hoped we could pull off what the winless dolphins did a couple of seasons back, but we failed to do so as we took that hard L to the ravens because of the offense and defenses poor performance.

chillin' in the hospital

earlier today i have been working diligently on making up some late blogs, but for the most part i was at the hospital visiting my grandfather. he was put in there yesterday after we found out he was having trouble breathing. so i got up there and there was plenty of relatives who i didnt even know, who visited him as well. so i had to check up on him and make sure he was alright and that took up the majority of my day.

its beginning to look alot like christmas

today i finally got around to setting up that christmas tree. it would normally take a while to do, but with help it got done way faster. i believe it took us about an hour to put up the entire thing, but it was most certainly worth it.
